What is TSOML Bookstore and what do you do?

The Story of my Life Bookstore is an indie bookstore that was founded by Barbara & Denise, a mom and daughter duo. Our goal is to support and share the wonderful stories written by indie authors. We offer 4 monthly subscription book crates and a variety of book boxes. We feature and promote independently published authors and customize the included merch and swag to the featured authors and their book. 

What kind of books do you feature in the book boxes?

All of our book crates and boxes features romance novels. There are different tropes and sub tropes that are featured each month. 

My Reverse Harem Book Crate features reverse harem romance reads.

Rainbow Romance Book Crate features LGBTQ+ romance reads. 

When does the subscription boxes pre sale start and when does the boxes ship?

Pre sales for the monthly subscription box last for the whole month (1st-31st) and begins shipping in batches on or after the 25th of the next month. 

Can I return my book crate or exchange if I don't like what's inside or already have a book?

At this time, we are unable to process returns or exchanges. All purchases, both subscription and shop orders, are non-refundable. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund.

My box is lost or my items were damaged in transit?

If you received damaged items or are missing any products, please email us at help@thestoryofmylifebookstore.com within one week of delivery and we will help get your item replaced. Note: we do require proof of damage via photo so please include that in your initial email.

If your package is missing, we must be notified within two weeks of receiving your tracking information. If your tracking number shows as delivered, your box is illegible for a refund or replacement. We recommend filing a claim with USPS to locate you lost shipment.

Can I cancel a pre-order shop purchase?

Pre-order purchases can only be cancelled and be eligible for a refund if done so within 24hrs hours after purchase. After 24hrs the order can no longer be canceled.

Terms & conditions

 

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

 

The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

 

Return and Shipping Policy

 

Returns 

At this time, we are unable to process returns or exchanges. All purchases, both subscription and shop orders, are non-refundable. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund.

Shipping 

All shop purchases will ship out in 5-7 business days. All pre order subscription book crates will begin shipping in batches on or after the 25th of the stated month. Exclusive book boxes will ship out as described in the product description.

We respect your privacy and take great care to safeguard information in our possession. Your preferences for use of your information are our highest priority.

The Story Of My Life LLC takes seriously the protection and proper use of your personal information, including social security numbers. In this policy, we may use "we," "our," "us" and "MSF" to refer to The Story Of My Life LLC.

The Story Of My Life LLC does not share customer information (including email addresses) outside the company unless it is necessary to provide you with products or services available from The Story Of My Life LLC. We may also disclose information when you tell us to do so, to identify or contact you, to protect your rights or the rights of The Story Of My Life LLC or as required or permitted by law.

Even within The Story Of My Life LLC we restrict access to your information to those individuals who need it to provide you with products or services available from The Story Of My Life LLC. Any third-party companies we use to provide you with products or services are required to keep your information secure and confidential.

In this policy, "personal information" means any information by which you can be identified or contacted, such as your name (first and last), address (city, state, zip), email address, telephone number, etc.
